When political collectors find items in junks stores or yard sales or such rather than trading with or buying from fellow collectors or dealers, we say we found them "in the wild". Last week I got a heads-up from my friend and fellow collector Jack Summerbell about a shop with boxes of buttons. Yay. I spent some time sorting through a very miscellaneous two big boxes of loose buttons as a result and made these purchases. To my knowledge none of them are of great value but they were a good deal and most of them are new to my collection.
