Gleaning Facebook: We Need an Independent Investigation

Donald John Trump seems to be a congenital liar. He is certainly a prolific one. I can think of no less honest major historical figure in American politics.

He also can't spell. And he doesn't reason very well. But he has down one skill: smokescreens.

For every major controversy -- and, oh, my! no shortage there --- he quickly rolls out, with no obligation for antecedent facts of any relevance, a similar counter-charge.

Folks call out DJT on his constant lies, DJT nicknames "Lyin' Ted".

The press begins to uncover his crookedness and he nick names "Crooked Hillary".

His AG lies about meeting with the Russian ambassador and he tweets a decade old pic of Schumer meeting in public with the same ambassador. The problem, Donald, is not the meeting. It's the combination of the timing of the meetings and the cover-up of the meetings. Why did Sessions lie?

And now...

In response to the Russia-gate spying on his opponents and publishing embarrassing e-mail and such; he accuses Obama with wiretapping DJT.

Many other examples.

We must have an independent investigation of Russia-gate.
