For eight weeks of the seven years starting in 1958 and ending in 1964 I lived at Camp Glisson. Much of the rest of those years the Glisson weeks lived on in my mind. The only thing I looked forward to with as much relish was the week each year I stayed with my Daddy Shaw and Mama Shaw in Milstead. Glisson is still going strong. What a beautiful place. It changed my life.

Gleaning Facebook: Cleve's Been Gone a Year
I love Cleve's wife Terri.. she shops in our store a lot and I think a lot of her.. she is also great friends with a close dear friend of mine.
Bob Doster
Lord, were we ever that young and that thin? Thanks for the remembrance.
Terrell Shaw
Yes, Serf, we were. Are we not still?
Bob Doster
Depends on who's eyes were using.
Betty Smith Franklin
Love that. Are there boys hanging around like that now?
Bitsy Burton
Thanks Terry for sharing this picture. A year gone by so very fast, seems like yesterday. I really do miss my brother, Cleve!!! Even 1965 seems like yesterday. Could you tag this picture to me?

Time Machine: Booger Hollow Hootenanny c. 1971
| L-R: Terry Week, Richard Ware, me?, Deborah, Cleve Burton, Sheila Shaw |
Richard T. Ware
Cool..........! Of course, that Deborah next to Cleve. Are there any more pictures of our hootenannies?
Terrell Shaw
This may be the first one after Sheila and I married. Fall of 1971, I think! It's at Mike & Carolyn Burton's place. I don't think it's the same night we tore "this building down"! Do you know if Deborah has a Facebook account?
Richard T. Ware
No, I don't think it's the same night we tore "this building down." It looks like we were outside in this picture. In the other picture, the other person is either Tommy or Sammy Middleton. I don't know if Deborah has a Facebook page, but I can e-mail her.
Gola Burton
For sure it is Dad’s place.
Betty Smith Franklin
I remember it and I was not even there!
Terrell Shaw
As they say of the whole decade of the sixties: If you remember it, you weren't there.
Michael J. Burton
I was still building the rock walls so it was previous to the night the floor fell!
Michael J. Burton
I still have the red chair that belonged to my father's father.
Hal Massie
Richard, I am very tempted to capture this picture and post it on the Botanical Society FB page!
