 If you ever start feeling sorry for yourself, go spend ten days in children's hospital waiting rooms. We soon realized that our fears were slight compared to what many young mothers and fathers and other grandparents were facing.

Gleaning Facebook: Meeting Clementine

Clementine and her Mom and Dad right after her birth and before the medical problems were recognized.

What a joy to finally meet our granddaughter and to get to hug our brave daughter and her wonderful husband. Clementine had a setback that will mean a few extra hospital days... but Rady Children’s Hospital is taking good care of her and she’s going to be fine. Ain’t she pretty? And her little squashed noggin is regaining its shape.

John’s Mom Renata met us at the airport and delivered us immediately to the hospital... now we’re visiting in the waiting area while J&B are with Clementine.
