Teachers are afflicted with human emotions, physical limitations, and foibles as much as anyone else. They will have rotten days. But we have a high calling, and more often than many realize, teachers are the only warm, reasonable, consistant, loving adults in a child's life. Be the adult in your room, but don't forget joy and even silliness.
