\It was great to spend some time at the Chilifest this morning at Ridge Ferry Park with Gen. Shawn Harris and several other Democratic friends. Please go vote for this patriot to replace the incumbent Marjorie Taylor Greene. Northwest Georgia deserves better than MTG.
It is such a joy to be part of a joyful hopeful group of patriots working for our republic through a political campaign. I stopped by the Harris HQ to replenish my literature and signs for canvassing -- This time for the area near our old house on Cedar Avenue. -- and saw many folks busily volunteering their time for American ideals. I’m off canvassing again. No slowdown! We’re gonna run through the tape to victory on Tuesday. Vote blue for liberty all the way down the ballot!
Sheila and I had tickets to the rally with Vice President Harris in Atlanta today. We got up, packed up to spend the night tonight with our daughter in Decatur. Even took our things to the car... then we both agreed that at 75 and 77 standing for hours today would be very tiring. We got to hear Vice President Harris in person in Savannah in August. Also, we'll be more use to her volunteering here in Rome. So, we sent our regrets via e-mail and I'm gonna stay in Rome and try to beat yesterday's record for the number of homes canvassed! Won't you come join me? Canvassing is easier and more fun than you might think. At this point it is a "get-out-our-vote" effort. 99% of the homes I'll visit today are folks who support Vice President Harris and Shawn A Harris -- we're just being sure they get themselves and their kin and friends to the polls! MANY of the people I canvassed yesterday THANKED me for reminders about polling places and hours and such! So it's a very rewarding experience.
Just come by the HQ on North Broad and Beth or Josh will set you up. If you want to tag along with me for a few houses to see how I do it, you are welcome.
Let's don't slow down here at the finish -- let's run through the tape to VICTORY for our republic on Tuesday night!
