True to form we took much longer to get off than we had planned. We pulled out of our driveway at 3:23 p.m. and still had to run by the drug store and the grocery before heading west along Georgia 20 toward Alabama.
I asked Siri to take us to Brinkley, Arkansas, knowing that was ambitious for such a late start, but we shoot for Brinkley and settle for Memphis if necessary.
