Ulithi

The location of Ulithi atoll in the Pacific where my Daddy served in 1944/45 as a Marine.


 This post for now is just a storage site for anything I find about Ulithi, the tiny atoll 1700 miles due south of Tokyo where my daddy, Charles Columbus Shaw was stationed during 1944 and 45. The transformation of Ulithi is a fascinating story.
