I don't often post my dinner, but this is special. Tonight we had a light supper to make up for my caloricious lunch of pulled pork with the fixin's from Henry's BBQ in Summerville. The notable thing about this simple meal is not the beans (with onions and peppers and enough "apple-bourbon" sauage to flavor, topped with a little plain yogurt and salsa) or the roasted corn-on-the-cob (with lemon-yogurt sauce) but the most expensive and delicious sauteed asparagus -- the results of my first asparagus harvest ever. Of course, from here on out, I hope the asparagus will get cheaper on average as I harvest more and more from the 24 plants I put in the ground over two years ago.
