Gleaning Facebook: On Washing Hogs & Building Community

I get so aggravated at the folks who say: "Oh, you are just afraid of change!" "Oh, you don't care about jobs!" "Oh, you are just anti-business!"

Hogwash!

I want growth and progress. But even if I didn't I'm smart enough to know it's coming whether I want it or not. The question isn't whether we want change, jobs, or business. It's whether we want some order to the process.

We are all in this biggest watershed together, the one named Earth. You don't foul your own spring.

Build it, of course. Build it elsewhere. Somewhere not our floodplain, wetland, parkland.
