I do not know the precise date of this picture but I remember the day.
We took a cold weather drive around the Booger Hollow/Chubbtown area one day so I could show off some of my haunts to my new wife. Judging from the heavy jacket it must have been in January or February of 1972.
Here Sheila posed on the steps of a little deserted cabin very near but not on the Dooley farm, little knowing that Laurie Dooley Craw (and Steve) would become one of our dearest life -long friends; we hadn't met her yet. And the Dooley farm would later become the Burton farm. We had probably visited with Mike & Carolyn Burton that day at their old place several miles down Booger Hollow Road. And we didn't know that we would, a few months later, buy our own cabin nearby.
