Larry England has itchy feet like his Daddy, who hoboed all over the country. Larry didn’t do that but he has seen a good bit of the world, including a tour of Vietnam. He often shares stories of his paratrooping days and of his sometimes hair-raising days on the railroad. Larry is a regular at storytelling venues around Atlanta including Eddie’s Attic and Stories on the Square. He’s got kin here in the ridges and valleys of Northwest Georgia, but he hopes to wear the Whopper Hat back to the big city. Come see if he can whup thirteen other fibbers as they try to outdo one another with tall tales in the 239th Annual* Big Fibbers Contest, Friday March 20, 2015 at Berry College in Rome, Georgia.
