Umbrellas are wonderful toys… somewhere I have a whole passel of pictures I took surreptitiously of Lillian when she was three or so. We had given her a little parasol and she and that parasol danced up and down the sidewalk and up and down from the carriage stone out front for ages. These pics of Ruth and Clem reminded me of that.

It was a Disney umbrella; I think Snow White and the Seven Dwarves themed? I was probably closer to 5 or 6 and was watching a lot of Singing in the Rain.
