In the seventies Sheila and I were active in the Rome chapter of the National Organization for Women (N.O.W.) We participated in some marches in support of the Equal Rights Amendment. This si a banner we created for one of those marches. I think we tacked it to some wooden posts so two people could carry it upright down the street. I ran across it today while looking for something-else in a closet and decided to take a picture. I wonder if we have a picture of us with it from back in the day?
