| Lillian delivered us to the Avondale Marta Station. |

| We only had to wait a couple of minutes for the train to stop right in front of us. |

| It was an easy ride with a few nice views of east Atlanta. |

| We had to switch from the East/West line to the North/South line at Five Points. |
 |
| We had a nice view for the Gold Dome of our state capitol. BUT I had a hard time getting a picture of it. When I was a fourth or fifth grader we students of Fourth Ward Elementary School in Griffin Georgia helped raise money to put a layer of real Georgia gold from Dahlonega on our capitol dome. |

| The train put us out right in the airport and before long we were walking the moving sidewalks toward the B Terminal through some of the interesting sculptures. |

| As we took off we looked down on the buildings around the airport. |
 |
| We flew right over downtown Atlanta and saw the gold dome again! |
 |
| It was a bumpy flight... maybe because of all the thunderstorms. See the tall "thunderhead" cloud? |
