We pulled a fast one on Barbara Crawford! She graciously agreed to board Blue while we were in California. She didn’t know that we had bribed Bunny (her Boston Terrier) to lure Blue into a romantic relationship. Bunny, meanwhile, used her feminine wiles to persuade Blue to woo Barbara, obviously helpless to resist a good kisser. As a result, Barbara has agreed to be Blue’s new Mama!
And we retain visitation rights.
Roscoe… well, he’s another matter.
Joking aside, we are grateful to Barbara for loving Blue enough to help rescue him from the streets. We are absolutely sure this is the best thing for him. He will have a constant friend and playmate in Bunny. Blue and Bunny are great friends, by all accounts, romping daily in the backyard, jointly and jubilantly obliterating any doggie toys they encounter, and sleeping entwined. And Barbara is a wonderful "doggie mom". Blue is in good paws.
