2021 Western Oddysey: Arches National Park 11/20

The Landscape Arch is the largest stone arch on the planet. You could fit a football field under it. When a huge part of it fell in 1991 they closed the trail underneath. This is as close as folks are allowed to get.

What a glorious day at Arches National Park. It was perfect walking weather. We compiled 20,000 steps and 20 flights of "stairs" on our devices as we walked the trails at each viewpoint we visited. I was overwhelmed by the grandeur of the rocks before we even reached the top of the Moab Fault at the entrance to the park at about 9 a.m. And the awe only intensified throughout the day till we left the sunset silhouette of Balanced Rock and drove back to Moab for supper.

Blogger does not upload in the order that I choose the pictures so the following may not be in any order. I'll try to write about them as I get a chance. If you click on the first picture you can click through them all at full size.
