After many days of early voting the final day of voting is here. It is a very close election, as usual. Turnout is key. Please vote! Please help save our republic from the Trumpists and Election Deniers.
President Biden and the Democratic House and Senate have worked to control prices during this worldwide inflationary period stoked by a pandemic and Putin's war. They have received ZERO help from the Republican (MAGA) Party (See my posts on November 6.)Meanwhile the Republicans have told us what they will do if voters give them majorities. Will they hold down the deficit? NO, they would give more tax breaks to the rich. Would they hold down drug prices? NO they would remove the reforms of the the last two years. Would they address global warming? NO. Some still deny it exists and others refuse face up to it. On issue after issue the Trunpist Party has stonewalled common sense reforms.
Don't do it for me. At seventy-five I fear for my grandchildren and yours. Vote for the kids. Vote Democratic. All the way down the ballot. And find us five more votes. Save our republic for our posterity.
