Gleaning Facebook: I Voted. Did you?

Today I exercised my most precious privilege and, I think, obligation, as an American. I voted.

I was privileged to vote for these candidates that I know and have faith in: Mike Burton (State Senate), Bonny Askew (State Rep), Roy Barnes (Gov), & Joe Martin (Supt of Ed.) And three others I have met briefly and who have inspired me: Carol Porter (Lt Gov), Darryl Hicks (Labor) & Michael Thurmond (US Senate)

Comments:
Terrell: I am proud and honored to support each of these long-shot candidates in this midterm election. I ask you to join me by casting your vote, if you haven't already, on Tuesday. I hope you will vote for these fine candidates, but however you vote, please do it.
Lynne Crothers Williams: We agree on one thing--the importance of voting!!
Ruth Baird Shaw: Jim, Joan and I voted on Thursday. I did vote for Mike as I love Mike and all the Burton family. Good folks! I still grieve for Cleve and regret his untimely death.
Margaret Oren: Did Bonny Askew once teach at West Rome?
Been gone a long time. . .
