Gleaning Facebook: Vote!

 Sheila and I cast three votes apiece in the City Commission race today. We voted for the three challengers. We then actively withheld three of our votes from any of the commissioners who have tried to sell our beautiful 80 acres to private developers at a bargain. The result of that sale would be the permanent loss of part of our children’s and grandchildren’s legacy.

You can help. Vote tomorrow or any weekday from 8-5 until Oct. 30 at the old courthose/postoffice on Fourth Avenue behind the old Masonic Temple. Or vote on Sunday October 25 at the same location 9-4. Or vote on Election Day itself, November 3 from 7-7 at your usual polling place.
