Our fourth bridge on the Armuchee Elementary School Nature Trail, the greatest nature trail at an elementary school in the history of the world. I think this is the seventh Eagle project that I have helped with at AES, though in truth I was out of town when James Asbury did most of his work! There are at least 12 total Eagle projects on the AES campus. Boy Scouts have been a blessing to our school. This bridge at The Outpost, a group of benches at the far tip of the school's 25 acres. It gives dry access to the Ridge Trail that climbs the northern tip of Lavendar Mountain and returns to the school building. Congratulations to James! And thanks for this wonderful addition to our AES environmental education program.
