Ran across this comment from our late friend Duane Parsons. His words apply as well now as when he wrote them. I miss him.
“It is difficult, but I believe we as good citizens should not remain apathetic and passive but resist and fight back against ANY formal mechanisms of power and governance by those who seek corporate or personal enrichment by “devastating” other human beings. Corporate greed and lack of environmental legislation falls in this category; e.g., mountaintop removal mining in my home state of West Virginia that benefits a small number of corporations at the expense of local communities and the environment.”- Duane Parsons (1942-2013)
