Gleaning Facebook: Sheriff William Livingston Dick

One of my great-great grandfathers, William Livingston Dick was sheriff of Clay County, Alabama and sported a fine beard.

William Livingston Dick (Great-Great Grandfather.
And just for the record his parents were Susan Webb of Georgia and James Dick from County Down in Ireland. James was coroner of Newton Co., Georgia and was wounded at the Battle of Calebee Creek on January 27, 1814 fighting under Floyd County's namesake Gen. John Floyd.
