The dawning of a whole new century in the year 2000 occasioned this gifted ornament. Do y'all remember all the hoopla over that milestone in our lives? As a smug Mac owner I didn't worry too much about the Y2K rumors; Apple was ready for the date change. I remember many times over the years figuring what my age would be at that far off dawning of a new millennium; I would be 53! Imagine. Now those millennial babies are a fifth of the way to the next century.
53 is a very different number to me from the vantage of 2020.
