Terrell Shaw Congratulations and a big thank you to our own Wendy Davis who is one of those sixteen Electors for Georgia.

Joan Ledbetter FYI: It is a long line for early voting. Praying everyone gets out and votes for Warnock and Ossoff.
Melissa Pyle-Hamilton Joan Ledbetter The SOS website says my absentee ballot was mailed on 12/2, but I have not received it. What do I need to do?

Joan Ledbetter Melissa Pyle-Hamilton Call the election office. I would hate for time to run out.

Howard Smith Joan Ledbetter My wife had to call about hers in Cobb County and it was mailed within a day.
Joan Ledbetter Melissa Pyle-Hamilton I asked an election worker. She said what I told you: Call the Election Office and ask. I am hoping you get it soon.

Tracy S Lawler It has been taking a long time for the absentee ballots to be received at homes. I requested mine in Nov and already expected a 10 day delivery time from that date but it took a bit longer than that. I filled it out right away and we opted to drop box it in Rome since we were already going to be in town.

Howard Smith It was a beautiful thing. And knowing one of the electors, Wendy Davis, makes this especially meaningful for all of us who are appreciative of her political leadership and friendship.

I copied this info sheet from the non-partisan League of Women Voters. I am NOT non-partisan (This will come as a shock to my friends, I am sure!) --- please help give our new president a fighting chance in the Congress. Vote to remove Mitch McConnell from blocking bipartisan solutions. He spent eight years stonewalling our last Democratic president and four years excusing the inexcusable in a Republican president and stonewalling the House of Representatives. We need a Senate that works. With a 50-50 Senate, organized by the Democratic leadership but VERY tempered by the moderates of both parties like Jon Tester, Kirsten Sinema, Joe Manchin, Mitt Romney, etc. there WILL be bipartisan solutions. Please vote for Jon Ossoff and Rahael Warnock!
We also need one STRONG consumer advocate on the public Service Commission; please vote for Daniel Blackman! Right now the PSC is in the pockets of the utilities with ALL members belonging to the other party. Surely in a 50-50 state we should have ONE Democratic PSC member!

It was great to see a steady but manageable line of voters this morning at the County Administration Building. Go vote!
